The location was excellent with easy Metro access to the city centre and major sights, as well as train links to other areas of France. The breakfast was good and staff very friendly. The free toiletries in the bathroom were very nice and the ac was very welcome. Had a nice view of the sky from bed (6th floor).
As indicated in a previous review, the bathroom appeared to be wiped clean and the bath had mould around the edges and handles (easily resolved by a bit of bleach!). Not very pleasant.
CHeck-in staff were very nice, and readily spoke english [which is not alwasy the case in Paris]. The hotel is an a good location, just a few minutes walk from the RER and Metro. Some nice restaurants nearby, with plenty of food choices.
The hotel decor is a bit 'tired'
The staff was very accommodating and went out of there way to make the stay as good as possible. They are the reason I did'tswitch hotels.
No style- a very plain wrapper hotel. I'm used to staying in really nice hotels and they were outrageously expensive so I tried something else- it was very convenient and the front desk staff were fantastic - the room had a jacuzzi tub and was clean but not spotless- the grout needed to be bleached and the window sills were dusty- the room was decorated in yellows and brown and was not fashionable at all.
The staff were very nice. The hotel is a decent size for a city like Paris. The elevator was spacious and my breakfast was included in the price even though I did not really take it each day. It is not too far from the metro-- although the location was not ideal for me as I was commutting to La Defense every day for work and since all of my coworkers were staying in the 17th district it made it difficult to meet up with everyone in a timely fashion. This is not the fault of the hotel and if I were just staying in Paris for fun I would not have minded at all.
I was frustrated that the internet stopped working after the first day I was there. I was there for six nights and found it frustrating that it was never seemingly resolved. I have no idea if that is because the technician or internet provider could not make it out until later, but it was very frustrating. it meant I could not stay in contact very easily with my family back home and I could not log into my company's VPN to do work. Also, the shower in my room needs to have the head cleaned due to the hard water-- the shower head was leaking and basically had only a few streams of water. This was an annoyance since it impacted water pressure, but was not something that I was frustrated enough that I said anything to the staff.
For Paris, this hotel was very clean, but for Americans, you will find it to be more like a one star compared to hotels state side. Don’t let that detour you. To find a stateside equivalent in France will cost you BIG bucks! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was good and, fyi, it was much cheaper to shop and eat in the hotel area rather than the more touristy areas. Their private parking was good and cheap. Don’t waste your money paying for their breakfast. You can leave the hotel, walk 10 feet in any direction and find a number of bakeries, food shops, and cafes, for a much better dining experience. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
The showers were tiny. Ask for a room with a tub/shower. It's much bigger.
The location is good, the metro station is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good: coffee, fresh juice, baguett, croissant, cold-cuts, cheese, jam, yogurt etc... The room and the bathroom is clean and settled every day. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. (+There is a good small restaurant just behind the building.)
The shower was quite small and its door was a bit hanging. It's worth to ask for a room with bath even if you prefer dousing as there is a door on it as well and you have bigger place.
The location was perfect for my next journey as I was next to public transporation.
My room (#3) was located on the ground floor. I was not able to get to sleep before 1am and could not sleep after 7am as people frequently opened and closed a nearby door that made a terrible noise and constantly woke me up. Light was flooding the room by passing all around the room's door.
The guys on the desk were so friendly and helpful - it was a pleasure staying in the hotel. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The free wifi is very important to my working stay.
I didnt stay long enough :(
We found this hotel to be a convenient place to stay with good local metro links. It is in a lesser-known region of Paris and we enjoyed getting to know this area.
The helpful attitude of the staff, the warm room, the shower cabin with hydro-massage panel.
this hotel is a proven value for me. Third time (or four?) I stayed there. Friendly, helpfull staff, good clean room - just a bit warm for my liking. I'm going back there.
friendly helpful staff, nice room - spacious for Paris, conveniently situated wrt public transport, shopping (Bercy village), movies (MK2 Bibliotheque - best cinema in town
on sundays croissant are gone quickly and service is limited (due to personnel restrictions). But globally the breakfast is generous
Nice, comfortable bed, room was small but cozy. Bathroom was clean with wooden floor, jacuzzi was working (so did in other rooms ;-), ideal for relaxing after walking the whole day.
The hotel receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The standard of the the room was excellent for the price we paid, it was alot better than we were expecting.
The room was a bit warm, and if you opened the windows the traffic was noisy
Good hotel located in excellent position close to two metro stations. Staff frendly and helpfull.
Rooms are small and the breakfast is basic.
